On Saturday we march, but on Friday, we STOMP!

The Stomp, a long-standing St. Paddy's tradition, gets us all in the spirit for parade weekend! Enjoy food, drinks, and music at Cathead Distillery before stomping your way to Hal & Mal's.

The 3rd annual St. Paddy’s race, “Run the Rainbow,” will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 to support Children’s of Mississippi – the state’s only children’s hospital, and registration is now open! Run the Rainbow will feature a 5K route beginning and ending at Hal & Mal’s in downtown Jackson. The 2025 event will also offer 10K, half marathon, and full marathon routes through downtown Jackson, Belhaven, Eastover, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center campus where you can see the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children’s of Mississippi!

Shrove Tuesday is the day immediately before Ash Wednesday, named for the “shriving” or confessions and absolution, and we celebrate in our in the Parish Hall.

The Saintly Chefs of the Burnt Offering serve a traditional Cajun supper. There is music, and a children’s parade is led through the Parish Hall. The event concludes with the Burning of the Palms, which were saved from the previous Palm Sunday and will be used for the next day’s Ash Wednesday services.

It's the second annual Mardi Gras Mambo - Pub Crawl and Block Party!

We're doing it BIGGER and BETTER!

All Pub Crawl participants will be able to stroll with the brass band New Orleans style from Blu Jazz Cafe down the hill to Hattiesburgers and Blues where the band will continue to perform. All are welcomed to stroll with us.

Block Party happening at the end of Front Street featuring King Cake from local and New Orleans bakeries, great mixed drinks, beer, live music and more!
